Mozilla Thunderbird Setup

To setup Thunderbird to send and recieve mail follow the procedure below.

  • Launch Mozilla Thunderbird.
  • Move your cursor up to Tools and then select Account Settings... from the pulldown menu.

  • From the bottom left hand menu select Add Account.
  • Select Email Account from the list, then click Next.
  • Enter your name and email address, then click Next
  • Select POP as the type of incoming server you are using.
  • Type the Incoming Server information as it appears below(mail.isunet.net).
  • Enter "mail.isunet.net" into the Outgoing Server Information field, then click Next.
  • Enter your ENTIRE email address into the Incoming User Name field, then click Next.
  • Enter a name for your email account(Home, Work, etc.), then click Next.
  • Verify that the information on this page is correct, then click Finish.
  • Go back up to Tools > Account Settings.
  • In the list on the left choose Outgoing Server (SMTP)
  • Select mail.isunet.net on the right, then click Edit.
  • Uncheck Use name and password, then click OK.
  • Click OK to exit.
